TDM Journal
The TDM Journal (ISSN 1875-4120, www.transnational-dispute-management.com) is a comprehensive and innovative information service on the management of international disputes, with a focus on the rapidly evolving area of investment arbitration, but also in other significant areas of international investment (such as oil, gas, energy, infrastructure, mining, utilities etc). It deals both with formal adjudicatory procedures (mainly investment and commercial arbitration), but also mediation/ADR methods, negotiation and managerial ways to manage transnational disputes efficiently. Each issue can be downloaded as a pdf-file from the website. E-mail is used to notify registered users of new TDM editions and its index. The TDM Journal includes inter alia an extensive series of concise abstracts. Most abstracts contain hyperlinks to more extensive and full articles, notes, comments and primary law, written by expert lawyers and specialists. As part of the subscription users can access and download these full articles from the TDM website.
To summarise:
- The TDM Journal can be read online (website) and offline (PDF)
- Full articles can be downloaded as Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) files
- Every year a number of specials are published
- Online Archive of previously published issues and articles
- Articles available by author, issue, category
- Entire Archive can be searched by keywords, authors, category and date
Open to all to read and to contribute
TDM has become the hub of a global professional and academic network, and therefore we invite all those with an interest in investment/international arbitration and dispute management to contribute articles. In addition to full length articles, we are looking for short comments on recent developments of broad interest. We would like where possible such comments to be backed-up by provision of in-depth notes and articles and primary legal and regulatory materials. Please contact us if you want to participate in this global network: we are ready to publish contributions with name, photo, and brief biographical description - but we will also accept anonymous ones.
TDM Legal & Regulatory Materials
A subscription to TDM includes access to a database of Legal and Regulatory Materials, a growing collection of: laws, regulations, contracts, guidelines, tribunal/court awards. The database already contains a large collection of energy laws, treaties, agreements, awards and other primary materials. As it continues to grow, it will become a more valuable asset of your TDM subscription.
Different from existing services, this "TDM knowledge bank" will focus in particular on the inclusion of authoritative "soft" regulatory materials - voluntary codes, guidelines, standards, resolutions and declarations. Both the impact of the NGO "civil society", the corporate governance and the professional communities will be reflected in the "soft" regulation database.
To summarise:
- Searchable database which contains a growing collection of laws, regulations, contracts, guidelines, tribunal/court awards
- Documents can be downloaded as Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) or MS Word (DOC) files
- Documents can be searched by keyword, category, country, date
